Mail Secrets of England’s buried history have been discovered by archaeologists following the heatwave. Neolithic ceremonial monuments, Iron Age settlements, square burial mounds and a Roman farm have been spotted for the first time. They have been seen in patterns in crops and grass by archaeologists surveying the countryside from the air.
Historic England said the dry summer had been particularly good for experts examining the landscape from the air as “cropmarks” form faster and are more obvious when the soil is very dry. The differences in colour or height of crops and grass cause the layouts of buried ditches or walls, which once marked out settlements, field boundaries or funerary monuments, to become visible.
This triple-ditched circular indicates the remains of a complicated structure of a Bronze Age burial mound Experts found two Neolithic “cursus” monuments near Clifton Reynes, Milton Keynes. One of the monuments had been hidden away until this year under a medieval bank, which is gradually being ploughed away.

Next and River Island both moved out of the ground floor of the s building last year, leaving Fat Face and Carphone Warehouse, whose leases are believed to run out by But ‘uncertainty’ over the future of retail in the city centre following the opening of the Westgate Centre has led to flexible plans for a number of smaller units spread over three floors.
The upper floors would contain teaching room, cafe facilities and 68 student rooms for postgraduates. Bob Price, the city council’s board member for economic development said it would be an improvement on the ‘monstrosity’ built in the s and increase footfall to the historic market, which has struggled in recent years. The Covered Market, which has also been hit by a number of departures in recent months could also benefit from the plans.

Linkedin Comment Five more DLC characters are set to be added soon to ‘Street Fighter V’ Facebook courtesy of Street Fighter Among the Season 2 additions coming to “Street Fighter V” this year are new downloadable content characters, but at this point, release dates for them have yet to be revealed. Still, developers may have recently offered a little clue related to when these characters may be officially unveiled.
During an interview with IGN , series producer Yoshinori Ono shared that Capcom may have some big things in store for the fighting game franchise’s 30th anniversary. According to Ono, there may be “one or two surprises” shared this year and they may be revealed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June or perhaps a little later during the San Diego Comic-Con in July.
Notably, Ono also reassured fans during the interview that Season 2 content would be released for “Street Fighter V” this year. On top of that, it’s hard to think of any announcement that would draw as much attention as potential character reveals for “Street Fighter V,” making it a potentially good publicity move for Capcom as well.
